We are open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5 – 9PM, with the last seating at 8PM as well as Fridays and Saturdays from 4 – 10PM, with the last seating at 9PM.

We strongly recommend reservations but do accommodate walk-in traffic as openings are available. For same-day reservations after opening time, please call the restaurant directly for availability.

Parking for Blue Jay Bistro is available behind the restaurant, as well as along E South Main Street, on a first come first serve basis. Public parking is also provided within the parking lot across Main Street.

As a fine dining establishment, Blue Jay Bistro does not offer booster seats, high chairs, or a children’s menu. We sincerely appreciate your understanding!

Escape the ordinary at Blue Jay Bistro – here we’re chic but equally as approachable. Whether you wear jewels or jeans, you will be welcome, we just politely ask that gentlemen remove their hat when dining!

We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions and common food allergies. Though we cannot guarantee potential contamination at the source, we take every precaution possible on-site at Blue Jay Bistro to avoid cross-contamination of milk, eggs, wheat, soybean, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish.

We look forward to having you join us for your special occasion! Unfortunately, at this time we do not allow outside food, such as cakes, or spirits and beer, in the restaurant. We do allow guests to bring in their special bottles of wine with a corkage fee of $25 per bottle.

Call-ahead orders and delivery services are not offered at this time.

Blue Jay Bistro is happy to prepare to-go orders for in-house diners or guests who walk in to place an order. While waiting, we are also happy to accommodate guests at the bar or by the fireplace. Please note that during busy times, orders placed for take-out may have longer wait times.

Blue Jay Bistro does not include gratuity in the check for parties of 6 guests or less. For parties of 7 or more guests, a gratuity of 22% will be automatically added. Our service team relies on your generosity and works hard to ensure all guests have an enjoyable experience. We thank you for supporting our hard-working staff.

Yes, we can accommodate parties up to 15 guests for dinner service, subject to availability. Reservations for parties larger than 6 people require a credit card to secure the reservation and can be booked by calling the restaurant at 252-586-2399.

Yes, our private dining room, “The Nest,” is available for groups of 16-30 people. Parties of this size are offered a set/limited menu.  

We are also able to accommodate larger groups of 30-50 people for a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres-styled reception.

Pricing varies, but typically around $65 per person, excluding beverages. For parties of 7 or more, a 22% gratuity will be included. A credit card is required to secure private dining room reservations and will only be charged if a cancellation occurs.
